Pep Squad

Purpose: The purpose of the pep squad is to glorify God by lifting up others through supporting athletic events and promoting school spirit. The pep squad will accomplish this by leading pep rallies, cheering and performing at sporting events, creating signs and banners to show support to other extracurricular clubs, and making appearances at a variety of events.  The squad will be unique in that it will connect students across many grade levels between the upper and lower schools. 

Character Formation: In accordance with the Veritas Telos, it is our desire that students participating in the pep squad will grow in the love of God as gracious servants.  They will humble themselves before other students as they commit to support their endeavors, both athletic and otherwise.  They will grow in hope and faith as they serve to lift up players, team members, and supporters regardless of performance or outcome.  Students in the pep squad will be required to exercise courage by performing in front of a variety of audiences.  They will also emerge as leaders in the community as they direct crowds in cheers and train up new members to the squad.
